The Baltimore Dragon Boat Challenge returns…

Brand-new world-class venue!!! West Covington Park located at Baltimore Peninsula.

The 2025 Baltimore Dragon Boat Challenge will feature 500M and 2000M races, food trucks, DJ, eye dotting ceremony and more on 18 picturesque waterfront acres with plenty of open green space for team tents in Racer’s Village.

The Baltimore Dragon Boat Challenge started as a local scrimmage in 2009 but now draws teams from across the Midwest and East Coast. Our club members run the entire event: singing the national anthem, marshalling, docking, announcing, judging, selling merchandise and designing and distributing medals. The race is covered by local TV news, and the BDBC Challenge was previously designated by the Mayor of Baltimore City as official Dragon Boat Day in Baltimore.
